Another Pop Up Store project we had the joy to put our hands on was for the online retailer Urbanara. To raise awareness Urbanara launched their Pop Up Store in advance to the Christmas season in the heart of Berlin where they presented the high quality home ware autumn collection. In a boutique setting the customers had the chance to get a feeling for the remarkable quality of the products and get advantage of special offers over four weeks.
MadeMyDay consulted the concept of the Pop Up Store and produced all aspects including location scouting, interior, video & photo documentation, catering, street promotion & staff.

Inditex brand Bershka launched its third German branch in Frankfurt am Main with a big in store festival on three floors. More than 2000 guests couldn’t wait to get their hands on the new collection first and attend the highly appealing artist line up with acts like Friska Viljor, Sizarr and special guests Palina Power & DJ Schowi.
In collaboration with Agency V MadeMyDay was in charge to implement the festival concept and manage all event production needs including the VIP area, artistic programming and after party.

Edition N°2 of the infamous Go Kart race by MadeMyDay was held during a splendid sunny day during August 2012. The pit stop was taken over by the teams of SOTO Store, Lobeck 36 , Nike & Yolo , ACNE Productions Berlin, Cheescake Powerhouse, FR:acing, N°74 & Haw-Lin, Cookies, Amen, EASYdoesit, Yam Yam Restaurant and us.
The speed level was insane and for gods sake there was no need for ambulance after some hard crashes. When all teams crossed the finish line we celebrated this years winners with a drivers BBQ and enjoyed the obligatory champagne shower!

The Japanese watch brand G-Shock presented their new collaboration with Maharishi during the Berlin Fashion Week in a very private loft setting. On behalf of BOLD Communications we created an authentic Japanese dinner and served the after party crowd until the late hours.

During the European Football Championships 2012 we invited in collaboration with BRIGHT for our temporary STUIDO B to join us with good drinks, entertainment, installations and a special host to celebrate each match.

In collaboration with Firmament Store Berlin we host the STUDIO F1 in one of the most outstanding architectural buildings of Berlin. The STUDIO F1 offers 65 square meters with internet, lightning, two separate bath rooms and a balcony on the sunny side in the first floor of the building.

The STUDIO F1 is available for temporary usage from 3 days to 6 month for events, presentation, workshops, showrooms, meetings, etc…

MissionWorkshop, the San Francisco based bag and apparel brand did a stop over in Berlin after London and Brussels.
The Berlin store showed the full Mission Workshop line as well as an exhibit examining the brands history and product evolution for a period of one month in the heart of Berlin.

In March 2012 the Berlin based start up monoqi.com was launched with an minimalistic pop up store all dedicated to design. For the period of ten days you could look at their new online services, touch & feel the design objects and talk about their aims and goals.

MadeMyDay was in charge for event, production, location and general consulting.

In line with the 62nd Berlinale the documentation „Marina Abramović. The Artist is Present“ by Matthew Akers debuted in Europe in February 2012. The movie revived Abramović`s famous silent performance „The Artist is Present”, that was presented at MoMa in 2010. During the European premiere in KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin the artist and her guests performed “Silent Party” – a mute get together.
MadeMyDay was lucky to support the KW Institute in collaboration with UrbanEars.
